Once your sample has been processed by the lab, your results will be available in your online portal. Lab turnaround is typically 2-4 business days after your sample is received. No worries — you can send your sample back in any standard envelope. For the lab to process your sample, it must be registered. If you forgot to register: • Register your kit as soon as possible at https://familyheart.besthearttest.com/signup.(https://familyheart.besthearttest.com/signup) — even if you have already sent it back • Once your account has been created, please enter the following code under the Register Your Test tab on the dashboard.  • Once your test has been registered, we should be able to process your test shortly! Generally speaking, yes, you can use your HSA/FSA account to pay for an at-home health test. Your test is authorized by a physician, so it should fit the guidelines for most HSA/FSA coverage. If you have a particularly rigorous plan, it is best to check with your own plan if you’d like to verify before purchase.

Fasting helps ensure the most accurate results for certain blood tests—especially those measuring glucose, triglycerides, and cholesterol. Eating before your test can temporarily raise these levels, leading to misleading results. If fasting is required, we’ll let you know in advance, usually asking you to avoid food and drink (except water) for 8–12 hours before your test.
